Julie shares her knowledge of Yoga and Yoga Therapy

Who is Julie?

I am a Registered Yoga Therapist with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) in the UK. I am also an Anatomy Teacher and a Cranio-Sacral Therapy student with the Hugh Milne Institute.

I’ve been studying and practicing yoga since 2009. Back then, I was living and working in Tamil Nadu, India. I have a spine issue called scoliosis and to address my back pain I had private lessons for 2 years with an Indian master, who shared with me his life-time experience.

I graduated in March 2012 in the Sivananda Ashram in Orléans -France- and became an Anatomy nerd after  completing my curriculum with Blandine Calais Germain -France- ; Leslie Kaminof -New York- and Thomas Myers -Maine-

During the last 15 years, I developed hands-on knowledge of how to adapt yoga techniques to the most vulnerable.

Today the scope of my  work is:

-  To bring Yoga in the community and to work with people with special needs.

-  To offer Yoga Therapy and Cranio-Sacral therapy to people with a wide range of conditions (Neurological, Immune or Respiratory Chronic conditions , Insomnia, during and post treatment of Cancer, diagnosed mental health issues).

Educate movement teachers to anatomy, to allow them to refine their skills.
